چکیده

Thermoplastic composite materials are emerging rapidly due to the flexibility of attaining customized mechanical and melt flow properties. Due high ductility, toughness, recyclability, thermal electrical conductivity, there is ample scope using copper particles in thermoplastics for 3d printing applications. In present study, an attempt was made investigate Melt Flow Index (MFI), tensile strength, conductivity nylon 6 ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) reinforced with particles. Thus, experiments were conducted by adding different-sized (100 mesh, 200 400 mesh) variable compositions (0% 10%) matrix. The impact single, double, triple particle-sized on MFI experimentally investigated followed FTIR SEM analysis. Also, tensile, electrical, testing done filament different compositions. general, higher fluidity strength obtained while smaller even concentrations (up 8%) improved bonding adhesion between molecular chains. Moreover, increase concentration

Fuzzy Modeling of Thermoplastic Composites' Melt Volume Rate

Melt volume-flow rate (MVR) is one of the most important quality indicators of composite materials, which depends on the proportion of the component materials. This paper reports the development of a low complexity fuzzy model that describes the relation between percentage amount of multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polycarbonate (PC) and MVR of the resul...

Melt volume flow rate and melt flow rate of kenaf fibre reinforced Floreon/magnesium hydroxide biocomposites

A study of the melt volume flow rate (MVR) and the melt flow rate (MFR) of kenaf fibre (KF) reinforced Floreon (FLO) and magnesium hydroxide (MH) biocomposites under different temperatures (160-180 °C) and weight loadings (2.16, 5, 10 kg) is presented in this paper. FLO has the lowest values of MFR and MVR. The increment of the melt flow properties (MVR and MFR) has been found for KF or MH inse...

Effect of Chemical Treatments on Flax Fibre Reinforced Polypropylene Composites on Tensile and Dome Forming Behaviour

Tensile tests were performed on two different natural fibre composites (same constituent material, similar fibre fraction and thickness but different weave structure) to determine changes in mechanical properties caused by various aqueous chemical treatments and whether any permanent changes remain on drying. Scanning electronic microscopic examinations suggested that flax fibres and the flax/p...

Overview of Flax Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Composites

Flax fibres are oftenly used for reinforcing thermoplastic to manufacture biocomposite materials exhibiting numerous advantages such as high mechanical properties, low density and biodegradability. The mechanical properties of a biocomposite material depends on the nature and orientation of the fibres, the nature of the matrix and mainly on the adhesion between fiber and the polymer matrix. The...
